Microgaming Casinos
|
| Microgaming was established in 1996 and they
were the first provider of casino software. Today, they are still the most
popular provider of casino software, and have the best software, in my opinion.
The following rules apply to the blackjack games at online casinos powered by
microgaming:
- Dealer
stands on all 17, draws on all 16. - Doubling down allowed only when having a hand valued at 9, 10 or 11. - If the dealer gets Blackjack, after you
have split or doubled, your entire bet is lost.

Playtech Casinos
|
| Playtech has been around since 1999, and was
originally developed by entrepreneurs from the casino, software engineering
and multi-media industries. Playtech casinos use the standard Las Vegas
Strip rules for Blackjack (doubling on any two cards; dealer stands on all 17
and draws on all 16), with the following exceptions: - After each round,
used cards are returned to the deck and the deck is shuffled. - The player may
not split a split hand. - Only one card is drawn to split aces. - The player may
double after splitting. - The dealer will not check for Blackjack in any case. -
If player doubles and the dealer gets blackjack, the player loses both his bets. Recommended

since processed over $12 Billion on online gambling funds. Therefore, they are
regarded as one of
the most financially stable online casino providers. Cryptologic casinos
follow the Atlantic City Blackjack rules (Dealer stands on all 17, draws on
all 16; doubling on any two cards; doubling after splitting allowed), with the following exceptions:
- Cards are shuffled after each hand. - Pairs may not be re-split (once you
split a hand, can't split the hand again). - When splitting Aces, you will get
only one more card.
